Critical Patient Care (Home/Hospital)

This service is for bedridden, post-ICU, or very ill individuals, requiring continuous skilled nursing and direct attention (mean 24/7). Our caregiver nurses are highly skilled and work under the direction of a physician, provide oversight, and are always available to ensure safety, hygiene, medication administration and comfort in the home & hospital environments.

We support and provide critical care patients with professional, gentle, and responsive support, tailored to their condition and needs, providing peace of mind for families and dignity for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vital Signs Monitoring & Reporting: Taking and reporting vital signs, and identifying a "baseline" temperature, BP, O2, and alerting doctors/family to critical changes.

  • Feeding Support (Including Tube Feeding): Providing oral, NG tube, or PEG feeding assistance (or whatever the medical need).

  • Bedside Hygiene & Positioning: Providing sponge baths, changing diapers, and providing positioning to reduce bedsores/infection.

  • Medication & IV Management: Providing care related to oral medications, injections, IV fluids, etc., (As directed by MD).

  • Oxygen [& Suctioning] Support: Managing oxygen cylinders/concentrators and suctioning airways, when appropriate, with respiratory patients.

  • Action Start to Emergency: Ability to effectively recognize early warning signs of deterioration, take action for the patient, or request EMERGENCY medical assistance.
