Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Hygiene: Bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Meal Preparation & Feeding: Preparing light meals and assisting the patient to eat, if necessary.
  • Mobility Support: Transferring patients to walk or transfer from bed, chair, or toilet.
  • Household Support: Light housework such as changing bed linens or keeping the patient's area as clean as possible.
  • Medication Reminders: Reminding the patient to take medications (no administration).
  • Companionship: Talk, light reading, or helping to suppress loneliness.
